The circuit layout is a challenging 5.608-kilometer (3.485-mile) FIA Grade 1 homologated track, meaning it is capable of hosting Formula 1 races. Key sections include a long back straight allowing for high speeds, a complex sequence of esses, and tight hairpin bends that demand precise braking and car control. The track has an anti-clockwise direction.



Technically, KMT boasts a sophisticated pit lane complex with numerous garages, a modern race control center equipped with advanced timing and monitoring systems, and grandstands providing excellent views for spectators. The track surface is known for its smooth and grippy asphalt, contributing to fast lap times.
