Vålerbanen is a motorsport circuit located near Braskereidfoss in Våler municipality, Norway. It holds the distinction of being Norway's oldest asphalt racing circuit, having been established in 1986, marking a significant milestone in the development of Norwegian motorsport. Initially a modest facility, Vålerbanen has undergone continuous development and upgrades over the years to become a versatile and well-regarded track.



The circuit’s primary layout is 2.274 kilometers (1.413 miles) long and characterized by a mix of fast sweeping corners and tight, technical sections. The track features several significant elevation changes, adding to the challenge and excitement for drivers. The surface is generally smooth, providing good grip, but careful car setup is crucial to optimize performance through the varied corners. The layout incorporates several challenging braking zones, demanding precision and control.



Vålerbanen hosts a wide range of motorsport events, including national and international racing series in categories such as GT racing, touring cars, formula racing, and various motorcycle racing classes.
