The Ariel Atom 2 provides a raw, back-to-the-basics encounter between driver and machine to push the limits of both to gain victories on the track. The Ariel Motor Company produces this street-legal racer in Somerset, England. This 2003-2007 iteration includes a 6-speed manual transmission and a turbocharged 2.0L I-6MT VTEC engine, delivering a maximum horsepower of 223 Hp at 8200 Rpm and 197 Nm of peak torque at 6100 Rpm. It is a top contender in any racetrack setting, offering a 140 Mph top speed and going from 0-62 Mph in 3.5 seconds, proving that sometimes less represents more.
This exotic lightweight automobile is an excellent choice for race-car enthusiasts around the globe, with high-performance features, ladder-type exoskeleton design, and a $41,980 price tag. The Ariel Atom 2 includes a digital LCD screen in the instrument panel, showing the speed and other relevant information. This particular model doesn't have any doors, windows, or roofs. In change, it comes with two thin carbon-fiber seats and a new grille on the upper side of the engine's intake. The standard tire setup incorporates Toyo R888 185/60R14, supported by a much-improved suspension and brake system. The Ariel Atom 2 is a shining British jewel, way above its competitors in the street-legal racer market niche.
