Thermal Club Twin Palms CCW
The Thermal Club is an exclusive private community of super-wealthy racing enthusiasts and high-performance car collectors who decided to build luxurious Villas right in the middle of a world-class motorsports complex. The 400-Acre walled village has a private airport, four road course configurations, high-end villas with stunning track views, an engineering center, a tire center, a fueling station, and a temperature-controlled vault to store members' vehicles and keep them ready to hit the asphalt anytime. This dream playground for motorsports fans is 30 minutes south of Palms Springs, in Thermal, California, in the middle of the Coachella Valley, with 350 days of sunshine a year on average.
Tim and Twanna Rogers, owners of the club, hired the famous South African race track architect Alan Wilson to design a top-notch racing complex where drivers can feel they're getting the most out of their sports cars and taking them to the limits keeping them safe at the same time. There are four circuits available for racing at the Thermal Club: the 2-mile (3.21-km) South Palm layout, the 3-mile (4.82-km) Twin Palms layout, the 4-mile (6.43-km) GT Circuit, and the 2.5-mile (4.02-km) North+Desert layout. The track surface is smooth and specially prepared for the scorching temperatures of the desert climate. Racing at any circuit of the Thermal Club is a real challenge for the drivers' abilities as turns, elevation changes, and acceleration sectors feel a lot faster than they are in reality.
The Twin Palms configuration in counterclockwise direction at Thermal Club combines specific course sections running in reversed flow at California's exclusive private racing facility in the Coachella Valley. The Twin Palms designation indicates a particular routing through sections near the facility's palm-lined features. Running counterclockwise transforms corner approaches and braking references across this combined layout serving member driving experiences.
Operating Twin Palms CCW showcases Thermal Club's exceptional modular infrastructure where multiple course sections combine with directional flexibility creating nearly unlimited layout possibilities. Coachella Valley's extreme desert climate creates challenging summer conditions with track temperatures exceeding 65C, while winter months provide ideal racing weather. The counterclockwise configuration enhances member value through directional variety, serving the exclusive club's affluent membership base seeking diverse track experiences at this ultra-premium facility where annual memberships exceed $100,000.
