Circuit Paul Armagnac-Nogaro Note

The Circuit Paul Armagnac-Nogaro is a motor racing facility located in the French town of Nogaro, two hours away from Toulouse and an hour away from the Pyrenee Mountains. The transitional Mediterranean climate type of Nogaro is optimal for racing year-round, and finding a wet track surface is possible throughout the year, with 165 rainy days on average. The circuit regularly hosts motorsports racing series such as the MotoGP, FIA Sportscar Championship, GT1, among others. Several racing clubs and driving schools operate in the facility, offering open track days for the general public to enjoy test rides.

The 3.63-km (2.26-mile) clockwise-oriented road course has 15 turns, six on the northern side of the circuit and nine on the southern side. These sides connect through two parallel straightaways: the Claude Fior Straight and the Aerodrome Straight, where racers reach top speeds of 240 km/h (150 mph) that go down abruptly when entering turn seven, Espingle de L'Ecole. The Circuit Paul Armagnac-Nogaro maintains a leveled elevation in its trajectory with tight angles in the corners, creating hard braking zones and stretches where drivers need to spin the wheel heavily from side to side. The average speed in the circuit is 122 km/h (76 mph), with an average lap time of 1:46.5.
