The Ariel Atom 3 is a street-legal, open-wheel racecar designed by the British car manufacturer Ariel Motor Company Ltd from 2008 to 2013. This exotic sportscar runs with a 2.0-Liter VTEC 6MT engine capable of producing a maximum power of 245 HP at 8200 RPM and a torque of 209 Nm at 6100 RPM. It's a rear-wheel-drive design with a 6-speed manual transmission and goes from 0 to 62 MPH in a whopping time of only 2.7 seconds, with a top speed of 140MPH. These are impressive numbers for any vehicle and quite an achievement coming from a company that only had seven employees when it started in 1991.
The Ariel Atom 3 has a simple yet effective design. It is a safe and efficient car, optimized for racing with a high-performance chassis, a steering wheel that centralizes various functions, comfortable sporting seats, and many other innovations. It has a new suspension with anti-roll bars and a kidney-pummeling system that supports the 205/50/R15 tires on the front and 225/45/R16 on the rear. For stopping, Ventilated brake system with ABS on all 4-wheels. It is worth mentioning that this already impressive open-wheeler weighs only 1420 LB, so you can only imagine how it feels to take one of these out for a track day. The Ariel Atom 3 comes with a 60,000 dollars price tag, but you get what you pay, and you won't be disappointed.
