2022: The GT4 RS Clubsport was introduced with a 4.0-liter six-cylinder boxer engine derived from the 911 GT3 Cup car, producing 493 hp, a 75 hp increase over the previous GT4 Clubsport model. It features a 7-speed PDK transmission with shorter ratios for quicker acceleration. The car’s chassis includes adjustable shock absorbers, anti-roll bars, and multiple spring rates for tailored handling. Aerodynamics were enhanced with flics, air curtains, wheel arch ventilation, and an adjustable rear wing. Porsche used natural fiber composites in various components to promote sustainability in motorsport.
