Der Porsche 991.2 Carrera S definiert einen "Alltags-Supersportwagen" mit einer zweitürigen/Heck-Mittelmotor/Hinterradantriebs-Konfiguration, vorgestellt auf der Frankfurter Automobilausstellung 2015. Der stilvolle deutsche Roadster ist ein Design von Ferdinand Butzi, montiert in Stuttgart, Deutschland, von 2016 bis 2019. Diese Facelift-Version des Carrera packt einen 3,0-Liter-Twin-Turbo-Boxermotor mit Ladeluftkühler, der 420 PS maximale Leistung mit 500 Nm Drehmoment liefert. Der Carrera S kommt mit einem 7-Gang-Schaltgetriebe, das dieses Auto in 4,3 Sekunden von 0-62 mph bringen kann mit einer Höchstgeschwindigkeit von 192,38 mph. Ein brandneues Styling mit aktualisierten Stoßfängern, Scheinwerfern und Rücklichtern aktualisierte das grundlegende 911-Modell. Diese Version ist auch die erste, die einen turbogeladenen Motor enthält.
Der Porsche 991.2 Carrera S ist eine leistungsstärkere Version, entworfen, um die Bedürfnisse jedes Geschwindigkeitsliebhabers mit klassischem Aussehen und erstklassiger Leistung zu erfüllen. Er kommt mit 20-Zoll-Rädern mit Pirelli P-Zero 245/35/ZR20-Reifen vorne und 305/30/ZR20 hinten. Eine unabhängige McPherson-Mehrlenker-Aufhängung und ein belüftetes Scheibenbremssystem mit ABS sind ebenfalls Standard in diesem Modell. Er hat einen kombinierten Kraftstoffverbrauch von 8,7 l/100 km und ein Leergewicht von 3174 Lbs mit einem Leistungsgewicht von 3,4 kg/PS. Der Porsche 991.2 Carrera S liegt am oberen Ende des Preisspektrums, da jeder Enthusiast 92.999 Dollar zahlen müsste, um eine dieser Schönheiten mit nach Hause zu nehmen.
