Der Porsche 991.1 GT3 RS ist ein Rennwagen mit Straßenzulassung, der 2015 von Porsche AG in Deutschland mit einer unverbindlichen Preisempfehlung von rund 200.000 Dollar eingeführt wurde und für hohe Geschwindigkeiten auf der Rennstrecke konzipiert ist. Dieses Coupé fährt mit einem saugbetriebenen 6-Zylinder-Boxermotor mit einem Hubraum von 4,0 Litern (244 ci). Seine maximale Leistung von 500 PS (493 bhp / 368 kW) und ein Drehmoment von 459 Nm (338 lb-ft) können das Fahrzeug in nur 3 Sekunden von 0 auf 100 km/h beschleunigen, mit einer blitzschnellen Höchstgeschwindigkeit von 311 km/h (193 mph). Der Kraftstoffverbrauch beträgt 14,3 l/100km.
Ein 7-Gang-PDK-Doppelkupplungsgetriebe überträgt die Motorleistung des Porsche 991.1 GT3 RS über einen Hinterradantrieb (RWD) auf die Straße. Das stilvolle belüftete Keramik-Bremssystem mit Carbonscheiben (6-Kolben vorne und 4-Kolben-Festsättel hinten) ist eines der attraktivsten äußeren Merkmale des Fahrzeugs. Der Porsche 991.1 GT3 RS wiegt etwa 1.420 kg (3.131 lb) und misst 455 x 188 x 127 cm, mit einem Leistungsgewicht von 3,1 kg/PS = 235 kW/t. Der Radstand beträgt 245,7 cm, vorne 155,2 cm/hinten 155,4 cm inklusive 245/35 R20-Reifen vorne und 305/30 R20 hinten. Diese Version des 991 ist eine deutlich verbesserte Variante, speziell für Geschwindigkeitsfans mit tiefem Geldbeutel, die einen Wagen mit der Seele eines Champions fahren möchten.
