The Volkswagen Golf GTI Mk7 is a compact, four-door hatchback family car with a front-engine, front-wheel-drive layout produced from 2015 to 2021 by the German automaker in several assembly plants worldwide. Its 2.0 L direct-injection engine (TSI) and a six-speed manual transmission deliver a horsepower of 162 kW (220 PS) and 350 NM of torque. This small and reliable daily driver goes from 0-60 MPH in 6.5 seconds and reaches a top speed of 155 MPH (250 KM/H), pretty impressive numbers for its market segment. It weighs around 2980 LBS and measures 172x71x57 inches. It features a remarkably efficient fuel consumption of about 6- l/100KM, representing an 18% improvement over previous models.
The current value of a Volkswagen Golf GTI Mk7 ranges from $20,000 to $25,000. There are two versions of this car: the standard and the performance package, which includes upgraded braking/ and a limited-slip differential. The car comes out of the factory with Pirelli Cinturato P7 225/40 R18 in the four wheels for both versions. It has improved safety measures such as an Automatic-post-collision braking system that applies the vehicle brakes after an accident to prevent a second crash and radar-operated cruise control.
