The Aston Martin Vantage GT4 is a race car developed for GT4-class competition, based on the V8 Vantage road car. Introduced in 2008, it features a lightweight aluminum chassis and aerodynamic enhancements, including a front splitter, rear diffuser, and optional rear wing, optimized for track performance.
Powered by a 4.7-liter naturally aspirated V8 engine, it delivers race-tuned power output, paired with a race-spec sequential gearbox or the standard manual transmission, depending on the configuration. The GT4 includes a stripped-down interior with FIA-compliant roll cage, racing seats, and harnesses, emphasizing safety and weight reduction.
The car benefits from uprated suspension, brakes, and cooling systems tailored for endurance racing. Widely praised for its balance, reliability, and engaging driving dynamics, the Vantage GT4 has been a popular choice for privateer teams in various GT4 series worldwide.
