El Honda Civic Si FA5 representa la variante sedán de rendimiento de octava generación producida 2007-2011 estableciendo primera disponibilidad Si de cuatro puertas dentro de generación única expandiendo accesibilidad de entusiastas más allá de configuración tradicional solo cupé mientras entrega motor naturalmente aspirado K20Z3 i-VTEC sofisticado produciendo 197 caballos de fuerza a estratosféricos 7,800 RPM manteniendo filosofía de rendimiento de altas revoluciones de Honda. El inline-cuatro DOHC i-VTEC K20Z3 de 2.0 litros produciendo 197 caballos de fuerza a 7,800 RPM con 139 libras-pie de torque a 6,100 RPM representó evolución de legendaria arquitectura serie K. El rediseño de 2009 trajo estilo exterior refinado a través de parachoques delantero revisado incorporando luces de niebla ovaladas obligatorias, patrón de parrilla superior en panal de abeja con insignia Si reubicada, luces direccionales de lente transparente. La producción concluyó en 2011 con introducción de Civic de novena generación adoptando motor K24Z7 de 2.4 litros revisado produciendo 201 caballos de fuerza, mientras ejemplos FA5 de octava generación mantienen valores de mercado usado contemporáneos variando $8,000-$18,000.
