The Alpine A110 R, introduced in 2022, is the most extreme version of the lightweight Alpine A110 sports car. Designed with track performance in mind, it features a turbocharged 1.8-liter inline-four engine producing 300 horsepower and 340 Nm of torque, paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission. With a curb weight of just 1,082 kg, the A110 R achieves a 0-62 mph time of 3.9 seconds and a top speed of 177 mph.
Extensive use of carbon fiber for the roof, wheels, and aero components, along with revised suspension and a lowered ride height, enhances its agility and aerodynamics. Unique design elements include an aggressive fixed rear wing, carbon-fiber rear window panel, and special R-exclusive lightweight seats.
Focused on delivering raw driving excitement, the Alpine A110 R sacrifices some comfort for uncompromising performance, making it a standout choice for enthusiasts seeking a track-ready, mid-engine sports car.
