Наддувный двигатель Tritec, производящий 163 лошадиные силы при 6.000 об/мин с крутящим моментом 155 фунт-футов от 4.000 об/мин, обеспечил удивительную производительность, достигая 0-60 миль/ч за 7,2 секунды. Рестайлинг в сентябре 2004 года принес существенные улучшения, включая увеличение мощности до 170 лошадиных сил через пересмотренное передаточное отношение шкива компрессора, улучшенную эффективность интеркулера и перекалиброванное управление двигателем.
