The Radical SR3 XXR represents the latest evolution of Radical Motorsport's highly successful SR3 sports racing car platform, designed for track days, club racing, and Radical racing series worldwide. The XXR features a 1.5-liter turbocharged inline-four engine (Ford EcoBoost derived) producing approximately 425 horsepower. Power is delivered through a 6-speed sequential gearbox with paddle shifters to the rear wheels.
Performance figures include 0-60 mph in approximately 2.6 seconds with exceptional cornering capabilities generating over 2.0g lateral acceleration. The SR3 XXR's construction includes a tubular steel space frame chassis with carbon fiber bodywork, ground-effect aerodynamics with adjustable front splitter and rear wing generating significant downforce, fully adjustable racing suspension with double wishbones, racing brake calipers, and weighs approximately 1,430 pounds (650 kg) ready to race. The extreme power-to-weight ratio of over 650 horsepower per tonne delivers hypercar-rivaling acceleration and lap times. The SR3 XXR includes comprehensive racing equipment including FIA-spec safety equipment, data acquisition, and professional-grade components throughout. Radical provides complete arrive-and-drive racing series support along with customer racing programs. The SR3 XXR offers genuine racing car performance with professional-level components, extensive manufacturer support, and lap time capability rivaling purpose-built race cars, making it popular among serious track day enthusiasts and club racers seeking extreme performance in a reliable, manufacturer-supported package with comprehensive racing series opportunities.
