The Honda Acura NSX NA1 is a two-door two-seater designed by Masahito Nakano and assembled at The Takanezawa R&D plant in Tochigi, Japan. It was presented at the Chicago Auto Show in 1989 and sold from 1990 until 2002. This Japanese roadster runs with a 3.0L V6 24V Vtec (NA1) engine delivering a maximum power of 274 HP and 209lb-ft of torque. The 5-speed manual transmission operates in a rear-wheel-drive layout to take this car from 0-60 MPH in just 5.6 seconds, reaching a top speed of 168 MPH. The Honda Acura NSX NA1 has a curb weight of 3020Lbs and a weight-to-power ratio of 5KG/HP 200 HP/Tonne weight-to-power ratio with combined fuel consumption of 10L/100km.
The current value of the Honda Acura NSX NA1 is around 81,000 dollars on the market today, a pretty impressive price tag for this collector's item. Part of the reason for the relevance of the NSX today is that it was the first mass-produced car to feature an all-aluminum body inspired by an F-16 fighter jet cockpit. It includes a double-wishbone suspension system on both axels, ventilated discs with ABS (Anti-Lock-brake System) brake system on all 4-wheels, and 205/55 R16 225/50 R16 tires. The NSX NA1 is a futuristic Japanese jewel.
