The Lotus Exige S is a supercar with a two-door, rear-mid-engine, rear-wheel-drive configuration created by Julian Thomson and Richard Rackman. It remained in the production lines of Hethel, England, from 2007 to 2013. This exotic-looking roadster runs with a supercharged V6 1.8L DOHC VVTL engine delivering 350PS of maximum power with 400 Nm of torque. It uses a 6-speed manual transmission from stock and accelerates from 0-60 Mph in 3.8 seconds, reaching a top speed of 170 Mph. The Exige S excels in three attributes: reduced weight, higher performance, and top-notch aerodynamics.
The Lotus Exige S holds a current market value of around $52,000, representing an opportunity for any enthusiast of fast and unfamiliar racecars. It comes out of the factory with 195/50/R16 stock tires on the front and 225/45/R17 on the back, supported by a standard stiffer suspension system and cross-drilled brake discs for stopping power.
