The Tatuus F4-T014, introduced in 2014 as first FIA-homologated Formula 4 racing car meeting new global F4 regulations, features Abarth 414TF turbocharged 1.4-liter inline-four engine producing 160 hp (119 kW) at 7,000 rpm and 200 Nm (148 lb-ft) torque at 5,000 rpm driving rear wheels through six-speed SADEV sequential paddle-shift gearbox, with minimum weight of 450 kg (992 lb) excluding driver creating exceptional power-to-weight ratio for junior single-seater category. Carbon fiber monocoque chassis engineered by Italian constructor Tatuus provides FIA-mandated crash protection standards with double wishbone pushrod suspension front and rear, single-element adjustable front wing and two-element adjustable rear wing offering aerodynamic tuning capability within cost-controlled junior formula framework.
