The Lotus Evora GT, introduced in 2019 for the North American market, is a high-performance sports car that combines lightweight engineering with a powerful engine for an exhilarating driving experience. Powered by a 3.5-liter supercharged V6 engine, it delivers 416 horsepower and 317 lb-ft of torque (332 lb-ft with the automatic transmission), enabling a 0-60 mph time of 3.8 seconds and a top speed of 188 mph.
The Evora GT features an aluminum chassis and extensive use of carbon fiber for components like the roof, front splitter, and rear diffuser, resulting in a curb weight of just 3,104 lbs. Advanced aerodynamics generate up to 141 pounds of downforce at top speed, enhancing stability and cornering performance.
Inside, the cabin balances luxury with sportiness, featuring leather or Alcantara trim, lightweight sport seats, and a modern infotainment system. The suspension setup includes double wishbones and Eibach springs with Bilstein dampers, tuned for both track precision and road comfort.
The Lotus Evora GT is celebrated for its engaging driving dynamics, precise handling, and minimalist design, making it one of the most driver-focused cars in its class.
