Der BMW M4 F82 ist ein zweitüriges Coupé mit aggressiverem Design als seine Vorgänger. Er verwendet ein Hinterradantriebslayout mit einem 6-Gang-Schaltgetriebe. Der BMW M4 F82 war nie billig, mit einem Einstiegs-MSRP nahe 70.000 Dollar.
