Scion FR-S — это спортивное купе, созданное в результате сотрудничества японских брендов Toyota и Subaru на их совместном заводе в Ота, Гунма, Япония. Свое первое публичное появление Scion FR-S совершил на Международном автосалоне в Нью-Йорке 2011 года, а серийное производство велось с 2012 по 2016 год. Этот двухдверный мини-компактный родстер оснащён 2.0-литровым оппозитным двигателем H-4 DOHC с системой впрыска D-4S и 6-ступенчатой механической коробкой передач. Спортивная подвеска настроена с использованием стойки МакФерсон спереди и двухрычажной схемы сзади. Тормозная система — дисковая на всех четырёх колёсах, шины размером 215/45WR17.
Цена в $27,490 сделала Scion FR-S одним из самых доступных спортивных автомобилей 2012 года. Аббревиатура FR-S расшифровывается как Front-engine, Rear-wheel drive, Sport — передний двигатель, задний привод, спорт. Максимальная скорость автомобиля составляет 136 mph (220 км/ч), а разгон с 0 до 60 mph занимает 6 секунд. Также стоит отметить экологичность и экономичность расхода топлива Scion FR-S — 9.6 л/100 км, что впечатляет для спортивного автомобиля.
