Die Chevrolet Corvette C8 Stingray Z51 ist die achte Generation des berühmten amerikanischen Sportwagens. Diese Version wurde von Tom Peters entworfen und wird seit 2019 im Werk Bowling Green in Kentucky, USA, produziert. Angetrieben wird sie von einem 6,2-Liter natürlich angesaugten V8-Motor mit 490 PS bei 6450 U/min und einem Drehmoment von 465 lb-ft bei 5150 U/min. Dieser kraftvolle Motor beschleunigt in nur 2,9 Sekunden von 0 auf 60 MPH und erreicht eine Höchstgeschwindigkeit von 184 MPH. Die Corvette C8 Stingray Z51 verfügt über ein zweisitziges, mittelmotoriges Heckantriebskonzept mit einem 8-Gang-Doppelkupplungsgetriebe. Eine besondere Verbesserung des Z51-Pakets ist der dritte Kühler, der zur zusätzlichen Kühlung von Motor und Getriebeöl hinzugefügt wurde.
Mit dem Z51-Performance-Paket liegt der Preis der Chevrolet Corvette C8 Stingray bei über 85.000 Dollar. Dieses Paket umfasst ein performance-optimiertes Fahrwerk, Performance-Traction-Management, ein elektronisches Sperrdifferenzial sowie 19-Zoll-Leichtmetallräder mit Michelin Pilot Sport 245/35 ZR19 vorne und 305/30 ZR20 hinten. Einige der zusätzlichen Verbesserungen, die die Chevrolet Corvette C8 Stingray Z51 gegenüber dem Basismodell bietet, sind:
