O Honda Civic Si FA5 representa a variante sedã de desempenho de oitava geração produzida de 2007 a 2011 estabelecendo primeira disponibilidade Si de quatro portas dentro de geração única expandindo acessibilidade de entusiastas além da configuração tradicional apenas cupê enquanto entrega motor naturalmente aspirado K20Z3 i-VTEC sofisticado produzindo 197 cavalos a estratosféricos 7.800 RPM mantendo filosofia de desempenho de altas rotações da Honda. O quatro cilindros em linha DOHC i-VTEC K20Z3 de 2,0 litros produzindo 197 cavalos a 7.800 RPM com 139 libras-pés de torque a 6.100 RPM representou evolução da lendária arquitetura série K. O facelift 2009 trouxe estilo exterior refinado através de para-choque dianteiro revisado incorporando faróis de neblina ovais obrigatórios, padrão de grade superior em colmeia com distintivo Si relocado, sinalizadores de direção com lentes claras. A produção concluiu em 2011 com introdução do Civic de nona geração adotando motor K24Z7 de 2,4 litros revisado produzindo 201 cavalos, enquanto exemplos FA5 de oitava geração mantêm valores de mercado usado contemporâneos variando de $8.000 a $18.000.
