The Ferrari 296 GTB is a mid-engine, plug-in hybrid supercar introduced in 2021, marking Ferrari’s shift toward electrified performance. It features a 3.0L twin-turbo V6 engine paired with an electric motor, together producing 819 hp and 546 lb-ft of torque. The V6 engine alone provides 654 hp, while the electric motor adds an additional 165 hp, allowing the car to reach 0-60 mph in just 2.9 seconds and achieve a top speed of over 205 mph. This setup gives the 296 GTB a 15-mile electric-only range, useful for city driving and emissions-free zones.
The 296 GTB’s design is sleek and aerodynamic, with modernized lines that nod to Ferrari’s heritage, including a flying buttress design and a distinctive rear light setup. It comes with an 8-speed dual-clutch transmission, advanced aerodynamics with an active rear spoiler, and Ferrari’s Side Slip Control system for enhanced handling and grip. Inside, the cabin features a minimalist, driver-focused layout with digital displays and advanced infotainment options.
The 296 GTB balances Ferrari’s legacy of powerful, high-revving engines with the efficiency and instant torque of electric power, creating a hybrid supercar that blends performance, luxury, and forward-thinking technology.
