The Ford Mustang GT S197 is a pony car belonging to the fifth generation of Mustangs, produced between 2005 and 2014, in Ford's assembly plant at Flat Rock, Michigan. Designed by Sid Ramnarace, this two-door coupe (D2C platform) includes a 4.6L DOHC 3-valve V8 engine with a single overhead cam design, a maximum of 300 horsepower, and a torque of 390 LB.FT on the GT Model. The car runs from 0-62mph in 4.2 seconds with a top speed of 142mph (230 km/h). It comes with a 5-speed manual gearbox in a two-wheel-drive RWD layout.
The Ford Mustang GT S197 evokes the early ages of Mustangs, with its retro-futuristic look and several exterior features going easy on the eyes. The S197 touches the ground with Pirelli P-Zero Nero 235/50/19 tires both front and back, using a ventilated discs brake system with ABS to enhance safety and reliability.
