La Mazda Spec Miata NA8 est une version préparée pour la course de la seconde moitié de la première génération de la Mazda MX-5 Miata, plus précisément les modèles NA8 produits entre 1994 et 1997. Ces voitures sont équipées d’un moteur 1,8L DOHC quatre cylindres en ligne, développant environ 128 hp en configuration d’origine, associé à une boîte manuelle à 5 rapports. La NA8 Spec Miata a été choisie pour sa légèreté, sa tenue de route exceptionnelle et son prix abordable, en faisant un choix populaire pour la course amateur et les compétitions de base.
Dans la catégorie Spec Miata, la NA8 Miata subit des modifications spécifiques et est soumise à des règlements stricts pour garantir une compétition serrée.
