La Dodge Viper ACR (American Club Racing) est une pony car deux places à propulsion arrière équipée d’une boîte manuelle TREMEC à six vitesses. Ce supercar typiquement américain accélère de 0 à 86 mph en seulement 3,4 secondes, avec une vitesse maximale de 177 mph. Son moteur Viper V-10 20 soupapes de 8,4L/512 chevaux développe 645 ch à 6200 tr/min avec un couple maximal de 600 lb-pi à 5000 tr/min. Il est doté d’un système d’injection séquentielle MPI, avec une consommation combinée de 15,6 L/100 km. La Dodge Viper ACR bénéficie d’une suspension indépendante aux quatre roues d’origine ainsi que d’une barre stabilisatrice avant/arrière.
La Dodge Viper ACR est une voiture de course conçue pour les passionnés de muscle cars américains, avec des options d’amélioration de la puissance et de la vitesse. Elle est équipée en série de pneus haute performance Kumho ECSTA V720 ACR P355/30 RZ. Un système de freinage à disques ventilés avec ABS sur les quatre roues, ainsi que des contrôles de stabilité et de traction, font partie des adaptations spécifiques pour la piste de la Viper.
