The Lexus RC F is an upgraded high-performance version of the original RC model, unveiled at the North American Auto Show in 2014. This front-engine rear-wheel-drive coupe was put together by Pansoo Kwon and assembled in Tahara, Japan, from 2015 onwards. This exquisite compact comes powered by a 5.0L (473PS) 2UR-GSE V8 Atkinson Cycle engine, coupled with the Toyota AA80E 8-speed Aisin AW transmission. Among its unique characteristics, there is a TVD (Torque Vectoring Differential) with three operating modes: Standard, Slalom, and Track. The Lexus RC F reaches a top speed of 170Mph, going from 0-62 Mph in 4.4 seconds, a mind-blowing figure for a sportscar in the price segment under 50K dollars.
The attention to detail and mechanical advancements in this Japanese sportscar is fantastic. The Nippon design language gets fulfilled in the Lexus RC F. Innovation is remarkable, from its spindle front grille and cooling ducts to the interior digital tachometers with G-force meters. It comes with a new 19-inch BBS Forged aluminum wheelset with 255/35R19-275/35R19 tires, supported by gas-filled shock absorbers, a ball-jointed stabilizer bar suspension type, and a Brembo braking system. An optional aerodynamic package includes an active rear spoiler, and a carbon-fiber package incorporates a roof and engine hood made of carbon fiber for a more lightweight setup. The one-of-a-kind Lexus RC F combines luxury and performance and represents a lifetime opportunity to own a compact version of a supercar.
