O Subaru BRZ Mk2 é a segunda geração do popular coupé esportivo de tração traseira da Subaru, lançado em 2022. Desenvolvido em parceria com a Toyota, o Mk2 BRZ compartilha a plataforma com o Toyota GR86, mas mantém as características únicas de engenharia da Subaru. O novo BRZ é equipado com um motor boxer flat-four aspirado naturalmente de 2,4L que entrega 228 hp e 184 lb-ft de torque — uma melhora significativa em relação ao motor 2.0L da geração anterior, respondendo às críticas anteriores sobre a falta de torque em baixas rotações.
O BRZ Mk2 conta com um chassi leve e rígido, com centro de gravidade baixo, graças ao motor boxer e ao uso estratégico de aço de alta resistência. O carro está disponível com transmissão manual de 6 velocidades ou automática de 6 velocidades. A suspensão foi calibrada para oferecer equilíbrio e resposta, tornando a condução prazerosa em estradas sinuosas e em pistas. A nova plataforma também proporciona dinâmica de condução e estabilidade aprimoradas, ampliando a reputação da primeira geração por sua dirigibilidade precisa e previsível.
O BRZ Mk2 apresenta um exterior redesenhado com perfil mais aerodinâmico e elegante, incluindo faróis de LED, grade frontal mais larga e linhas agressivas na carroceria. Internamente, a cabine traz materiais aprimorados, painel digital, sistema de infotainment com tela sensível ao toque de 8 polegadas com Apple CarPlay e Android Auto, além de bancos esportivos com bom suporte. A Subaru manteve o layout minimalista e focado no motorista, aumentando o conforto sem gerar distrações.
O Mk2 BRZ foi bem recebido por seu aumento de potência, dirigibilidade aprimorada e sensação clássica de coupé esportivo, oferecendo uma experiência acessível e envolvente para entusiastas da condução.
