O BMW E92 M3 DCT é uma versão coupé de duas portas do E92, equipado de série com uma transmissão de dupla embreagem. Foi produzido entre 2008 e 2013 pela divisão de automobilismo da BMW na Alemanha. O carro é movido pelo icônico motor V8 aspirado naturalmente S65 da marca, que atinge uma potência máxima de 420 PS (450 hp – 331 kW) a 8300 rpm. O sistema de injeção multiponto permite uma aceleração de 0-62 mph (100 km/h) em 4,4 segundos e uma velocidade máxima em torno de 190 mph (305 km/h). Mas é a famosa transmissão de dupla embreagem de 7 velocidades (DCT) que diferencia o M3 E92 DCT das outras versões do M3. Essencialmente, a DCT é uma transmissão manual automatizada com duas embreagens separadas.
A configuração do BMW E92 M3 DCT é tração traseira, com motor dianteiro, suspensão dianteira do tipo double wishbone e suspensão independente multilink na traseira. O sistema de discos de freio ventilados nas quatro rodas e a direção elétrica tornam o carro fácil de manobrar em qualquer condição de pista. Os pneus de fábrica são Michelin Pilot Sport PS2, 255/35 R19 na dianteira e 260/35 R19 na traseira. O carro pesa cerca de 3374 lbs (1530 kg). O preço de $30.000 torna-o um coupé BMW muito acessível, considerando a alta tecnologia e confiabilidade do automóvel, que seria uma aquisição sólida para qualquer entusiasta de carros.
