Sistema de freios a disco ventilados com ABS nas quatro rodas, suspensão dianteira independente com molas helicoidais duplas do tipo double-wishbone e suspensão traseira multi-link são itens de série neste cupê. O Mazda Miata MX-5 ND calça pneus Bridgestone Potenza S001 205/50R16 87V na dianteira e 205/45ZR17 84W na traseira.
