Die Produktion endete 2011 mit der Einführung des Civic der neunten Generation, der einen überarbeiteten K24Z7 2,4-Liter-Motor mit 201 PS einführte, während Exemplare der achten Generation FA5 zeitgenössische Gebrauchtmarktwerte von $8.000 bis $18.000 beibehalten.
