Silesia Ring Notes

The Silesia Ring is a 2.26-mile (3.63-km) motorsport racing facility located near the Czech border in Kamien Slaski, Poland, on a 4-hours ride southwest of Warsaw.  The track's layout is intricate and demanding, going clockwise with six turns to the left and nine to the right. The landscape around the racetrack is stunning, and its wide runoffs without metal or concrete barriers offer the highest security standards for motorcyclists. Its far inland location in center Europe gives the village of Kamien Slaski a Continental type of climate, with cold, snowy winters and mild summers.

The Silesia Ring has corners of varying amplitude, radius, and depth. It also has several long acceleration sectors and hard braking spots scattered throughout the trajectory. It is a challenging circuit that rewards patient riders willing to take risks without compromising control. Races start in the front straight, and another straightaway with a similar length extends from turn three to four. There are heavy steering segments of the track where high-performance vehicles screech their tires so hard drivers will constantly feel they're forcing their rides to the edge. Many professional motorcyclists agree this is one of Europe's premier venues for high-technical riding, so the Silesia Ring is definitely worth the trip.
