The Porsche Cayman S 987 v2 is a two-door soft-top sport coupe, the 2nd generation of the famous Porsche Cayman, manufactured from 2009 to 2012 in Stuttgart, Germany. Unveiled in 2008 at the Geneva Motor Show, the significant breakthrough of this model was the introduction of the new PDK (Porsche Doppel Kupplungs) 6-speed manual gearbox, which came to replace the traditional trip tonic semi-automatic transmission of previous models. This roadster includes a 3.4L DFI flat-six engine that produces 320 BHP and 273 lb-ft of torque, taking it from 0-62MPH in 5.2 seconds and reaching a top speed of 172 MPH. The Cayman has an axle load distribution of approximately 45:55 to ensure stability and road behavior.
The Porsche Cayman S 987 v2 comes in a front-engine RWD layout with a lighter and compact design. On the exterior, the redesigned front with LED driving lights is one of the iconic features that turn heads wherever you go. The car includes the Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM), Sport Chrono Package, Ventilated discs braking system with ABS, electronic stability control, and immobilizer. The Michelin Pilot Sport PS2 tires come from stock on 18-inches 911 turbo lightweight alloy wheels, with 235/35 R18 on the front and 265/40 R18 on the back.
