La Honda Civic Si FA5 rappresenta la variante berlina di prestazioni di ottava generazione prodotta dal 2007 al 2011 stabilendo la prima disponibilità Si a quattro porte all'interno di una singola generazione espandendo l'accessibilità degli entusiasti oltre la tradizionale configurazione solo coupé mentre fornisce un motore aspirato naturalmente K20Z3 i-VTEC sofisticato producendo 197 cavalli a stratosferici 7.800 giri/min mantenendo la filosofia di prestazioni ad alto regime di Honda. Il quattro cilindri in linea DOHC i-VTEC K20Z3 da 2,0 litri producendo 197 cavalli a 7.800 giri/min con 139 libbre-piedi di coppia a 6.100 giri/min ha rappresentato l'evoluzione della leggendaria architettura serie K. Il restyling 2009 ha portato uno stile esterno raffinato attraverso paraurti anteriore rivisto incorporando fendinebbia ovali obbligatori, motivo griglia superiore a nido d'ape con badge Si ricollocato, indicatori di direzione con lenti chiare.
