El rediseño de 2009 trajo estilo exterior refinado a través de parachoques delantero revisado incorporando luces de niebla ovaladas obligatorias, patrón de parrilla superior en panal de abeja con insignia Si reubicada, luces direccionales de lente transparente. La producción concluyó en 2011 con introducción de Civic de novena generación adoptando motor K24Z7 de 2.4 litros revisado produciendo 201 caballos de fuerza, mientras ejemplos FA5 de octava generación mantienen valores de mercado usado contemporáneos variando $8,000-$18,000.
