Autódromo Internacional de Curitiba Notes

The Autodromo Internacional de Curitiba was a 2.31-mile (3.71-km) race track located in the Brazilian city of Curitiba, a manufacturing hub at 934,6 meters (3064 feet) above sea level on the southern part of the country. The World Touring Car Championship, the Formula 3 Sudamericana, and the Stock Car Brazil racing series were some competitions that used the venue during its 54 years of history. The temperate climate of Curitiba is ideal for outdoor activities, with pleasant temperatures year-round and a well-balanced precipitation level. The Autodromo Internacional de Curitiba ceased its operations by the end of 2021 because of judicial matters involving the owner of the circuit,  Inepar group.

There were 15 turns in the Autodromo Internacional de Curitiba, with varying angles, lengths, and several multi-apex corners that provided a tough challenge for aspiring drivers. The Start/Finish line was in the middle of the front straightaway and was long enough for high-performance vehicles to reach 200 km/h (656 mph). A short snaking section went from the 90-degree turn number one to the right-hander number four, leading into the back straightaway for another acceleration section. The highly technical inner part went from six to twelve, which rewarded drivers prioritizing control over speed. The last corner was a combination of three right-handers, 13, 14, and 15, which prepared the driver for re-entry into the long straight for a final effort to win.
