The Lotus Elise Series 2 is a two-door sports car produced from 2001 to 2011 in Hethel, United Kingdom. This mean-looking racer runs with a 5-speed manual transmission powered by a 1.8L naturally-aspirated in-line 4-cylinder engine delivering a maximum power of 122 PS and 168 NM of torque. The top speed is around 125 MPH, and its 0-60 MPH acceleration time is only 5.7 seconds, with a fuel consumption of 7.4L/100Km and a curve weight of 1565 Lbs. This exotic Elise S2 has a price tag of around 22,000 dollars on the market today.
Due to its incredible handling, top-notch performance, and relatively low price, the Lotus Elise Series 2 is among the most successful and popular British sports cars in recent years. It is a rear-wheel-drive design with a double-wishbone, coil springs, anti-roll bar front suspension, an independent double-wishbone, anti-roll rear suspension system that supports 225/45 R17 performance tires both front and back. The ventilated discs with ABS are the standard brake system included. One of the most remarkable aspects of the Lotus Elise Series 2 is its lightweight chassis made of bonded aluminum, contributing to this strong performer's results on the racetracks worldwide.
