The BMW E92 M3 DCT is a two-door coupe version of the E92 coming with a Dual Clutch Transmission from stock. It was in production between 2008 and 2013 by BMW's motorsports division in Germany. The car runs with the brand's landmark S65 naturally-aspired V8 engine, which reaches a maximum power of 420 PS (450 hp – 331 kW) at 8300rpm. The multi-point injection fuel system gets a top speed of 0-62mph (100 km/h) in 4.4 seconds and a maximum speed of around 190mph (305 km/h). But it is the famous 7-speed dual-clutch transmission (DTC) feature whats makes the M3 E92 DTC different from the other M3 versions. Essentially, DTC is an automated manual transmission with two separate clutches.
The BMW E92 M3 DTC disposition is a rear-wheel drive, with the engine in front, a double-wishbone front suspension, and a multi-link independent suspension on the back. The vented braking discs system in the four wheels and electric steering are a breeze to maneuver on any track condition. Stock tires are Michelin Pilot Sport PS2, 255/35 R19 up front, and 260/35 R19 on the back. The car weighs around 3374 lbs(1530 kg). The $30,000 price makes it a very affordable BMW coupe, given the high technology and reliability of the automobile, which would be a solid acquisition for any car enthusiast.
