2014: Introduction of the F56 generation, with a 2.0L turbo engine making 189 hp and a larger body offering more interior space.
2015: Five-door variant (F55) added, providing two extra doors and more rear legroom.
2018: First refresh with a new 7-speed dual-clutch automatic, updated LED headlights, and Union Jack-themed taillights.
2021: Second refresh with redesigned bumpers, standard Union Jack taillights, new steering wheel, extra ambient lighting, and a particulate filter slightly reducing power.
2024: End of F56 production in March 2024, concluding the generation.
