2007: Introduced with a 3.0L twin-turbo inline-six engine producing 300 horsepower, available in coupe and convertible forms.
2008: Minor updates to interior features and optional amenities, with the addition of the M Sport package.
2009: iDrive system updated with a new interface, and the convertible receives standard HD radio.
2010: Coupe and convertible receive a mid-cycle refresh with revised headlights, taillights, and bumpers.
2011: N55 single-turbo engine replaces the N54 twin-turbo, maintaining the same 300 horsepower rating but improving efficiency.
2012: Final production year for the E92 335i as it transitions to the next-generation F30/F32 platform.
