La KTM X-BOW RR est une voiture de sport monocoque ultra-légère à propulsion arrière, conçue par KISKA et assemblée chez KMT Sports Car GMBH à Graz, en Autriche, depuis 2011. Cette machine orientée circuit, non homologuée pour la route, présente une structure composite en fibre de carbone légère pesant moins de 1740 lbs. La Crossbow est équipée d’un moteur turbo Audi TFSI I5 2.0L développant une puissance maximale de 300 HP et un couple de 400 Nm à 3300 tr/min. Elle dispose d’une transmission manuelle Audi 6 vitesses de série, capable d’accélérer de 0 à 62 MPH en seulement 3,9 secondes, avec une vitesse maximale enregistrée de 144 MPH.
La KTM X-BOW RR est une concurrente redoutable sur circuit, entièrement dédiée à offrir la meilleure performance possible aux pilotes au goût exigeant. Elle est montée avec des pneus compétition Toyo R888 en 215/45/ZR17 à l’avant et 255/35/ZR18 à l’arrière, le tout soutenu par un système de freinage Brembo comprenant des étriers fixes à quatre pistons à l’avant et à deux pistons à l’arrière, nécessitant seulement 32,9 mètres pour freiner de 62 à 0 MPH. Elle dispose d’un volant multifonction détachable (commandé par infrarouge) avec réglage en hauteur et en profondeur. Ce bolide autrichien exotique et futuriste est actuellement estimé à environ 93 000 $.

2013: KTM refined the X-BOW RR’s aerodynamics, optimizing downforce and stability at high speeds. The interior saw slight modifications, including a more ergonomic race seat and updated steering controls to improve driver comfort during long track sessions.
2014: This year brought further engine management updates, allowing for more precise power delivery and improved throttle response. KTM introduced new brake components for greater endurance and heat dissipation, enhancing the car’s braking performance in endurance racing scenarios.
2015: KTM introduced an optional data-logging system, enabling teams and drivers to monitor and analyze vehicle performance in real time. The suspension setup was also slightly revised, providing more adjustability and tunability for specific track conditions.
2016: The X-BOW RR received slight interior updates with additional safety features, including improved harness systems and a redesigned roll-over protection structure to meet updated racing regulations.
2019: KTM continued producing the X-BOW RR, with minor yearly updates focusing on durability and customization options. The introduction of advanced data logging and telemetry systems provided more in-depth vehicle performance analytics, solidifying the X-BOW RR as a highly competitive track car.
