La Porsche 992.1 Carrera S appartient à la huitième génération de la Porsche 911, l’une des séries de voitures de sport les plus emblématiques jamais conçues. Il s’agit d’un roadster deux portes, moteur arrière, propulsion, dessiné par Michael Mauer et assemblé à Stuttgart, en Allemagne, de 2019 à 2020. Cette version de la 911 est équipée d’un moteur flat-6 biturbo de 4,0 L et d’une boîte automatique à double embrayage à 8 rapports. L’intérieur au design contemporain donne l’impression d’être aux commandes d’un cockpit de jet, offrant une expérience globale remarquable. La Carrera S est réputée pour sa tenue de route à haute vitesse et son accélération vive, atteignant une vitesse maximale de 191 mph et passant de 0 à 62 mph en seulement 3,7 secondes. Avec une consommation moyenne remarquable de 8,9 L/100 km, c’est l’un des modèles 911 les plus économes en carburant.

Elle est équipée de série d’une suspension indépendante McPherson/Multilink, chaussée de pneus Pirelli P-Zero 245/35/ZR20 – 305/30/ZR21, et de freins à disque ventilés avec système antiblocage pour une puissance de freinage optimale. La direction est de type crémaillère, avec une option de direction aux quatre roues (4WS-active rear) offrant une maniabilité exceptionnelle quelles que soient les conditions de piste.
