La F80 monta il motore S55B30A, un 6 cilindri in linea da 3.0L con 431 cavalli e doppio turbocompressore con intercooler. La BMW M3 F80 accelera da 0 a 62 mph (100 km/h) in soli 4,3 secondi, raggiungendo una velocità massima di 160 mph (250 km/h). Tutta questa potenza è racchiusa in una carrozzeria dal peso di 3351 lbs.
