The Toyota GR Supra A90/A91 is a compact Sports Car with great looks and exquisite design, in production since 2019 at the Magna Steyr assembly plant in Graz, Austria. It's a rear-wheel-drive coupe powered by an 8-speed ZF 8HP automatic gearbox. The regular 2.0L variant inline-four engine delivers 255 HP and bursts out 295 LB-FT of torque, while the high-performance BMW B58B30O1 I6 3.0L inline-six variant claims to increase to 380 HP, 370 LB-FT of torque. Both engine versions are turbocharged and have twin-scroll geometry. The suspension comes with McPherson struts in front and a Multi-link at the back.
This Toyota GR Supra A90/A91 has a top speed of 155 MPH (249 KM/H) and accelerates from 0-60MPH in around 4 seconds. Its point of contact with the track surface uses Michelin 300 Pilot Super Sports tires, 255/35 ZR19 at the front and 275/35 ZR19 at the rear axis. Additional safety features include the blind spot monitor and a Pre-collision system that helps prevent crashes on urban roads. The 3.0 model gets improved traction at high speeds and Brembo Brakes. The luxurious and comfortable Alcantara sports seats that come out of the box provide excellent support when driving this premium vehicle. This exceptional machine ranges between $43,000 up to $64,000 for the limited A91-CF edition.

2019: The fifth-generation Supra (A90) was launched in collaboration with BMW. It featured a 3.0L turbocharged inline-six engine (B58), producing 335 hp and 365 lb-ft of torque, paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission. The car had a 50:50 weight distribution, adaptive suspension, Brembo brakes, and an active rear differential. The A90 Supra offered a modern, aggressive design with a long hood, short rear, and twin exhausts. Interior highlights included a digital gauge cluster, an 8.8-inch infotainment screen, and sport seats. No manual transmission was available at launch.
2021: Toyota introduced the A91 Edition, which included unique styling cues, such as exclusive Refraction Blue and Nocturnal (black) colors, carbon fiber mirror caps, and a rear spoiler. Performance improvements included a power increase for the 3.0L engine to 382 hp and 368 lb-ft of torque, along with an updated suspension for better handling. Toyota also introduced a 2.0L turbocharged inline-four engine option with 255 hp and 295 lb-ft of torque, providing a lighter, entry-level model for enthusiasts.
2022: Toyota made further refinements to the suspension and steering for improved handling precision and comfort. The A91-CF (Carbon Fiber) Edition was introduced as a limited-run model with carbon fiber accents, including a front splitter, side skirts, and a rear lip spoiler, plus exclusive matte black wheels. Only 600 units of the A91-CF Edition were produced, making it a unique collector’s option.
2023: The GR Supra finally received a 6-speed manual transmission option for the 3.0L model, responding to enthusiast demand for a manual Supra. This model came with unique gearing and a new traction control system optimized for manual driving. Toyota also revised the steering and suspension tuning specifically for the manual version to enhance engagement. Additionally, all models received minor software updates for improved driving dynamics.
2024: Toyota introduced the GR Supra 45th Anniversary Edition, celebrating the Supra’s legacy with exclusive colors, such as Mikan Blast orange, and a black rear spoiler. The 45th Anniversary Edition also featured unique black wheels and graphics, available on both automatic and manual versions. The rest of the lineup continued with minor tweaks, focusing on software and comfort improvements.
