Der BMW M3 F80 ist eine fünfsitzige viertürige Limousine, die von 2014 bis 2019 im BMW-Werk Regensburg in Deutschland hergestellt wurde. Der F80 fährt mit dem S55B30A-Motor, einem 431 PS starken 3,0-Liter-6-Zylinder-Reihenmotor mit Twinpower-Turbo-Ladeluftkühler-Aufladung. Der BMW M3 F80 beschleunigt in nur 4,3 Sekunden von 0 auf 100 km/h und erreicht eine Höchstgeschwindigkeit von 257 km/h (160 mph). All diese Leistung kommt in einem 1.520 kg (3.351 lb) schweren Körper verpackt. Der Kraftstoffverbrauch dieses Fahrzeugs ist sehr effizient mit nur 8,8 l/100 km, ein sehr verlockendes Angebot von BMW.
Diese Serie des BMW M3 (F80) umfasst ein GETRAG-6-Gang-Schaltgetriebe und kommt in einer Hinterradantriebs-Konfiguration. Die Vorderradaufhängung arbeitet mit unabhängigen Federn und die Hinterradaufhängung mit einer Mehrlenker-Einstellung. Fahrer fahren mit einem Paar Michelin Pilot Super Sport 255/40 R18-Reifen vorne und 275/40 R18 hinten auf die Straße. Die belüftete Scheiben-Konfiguration war das Bremssystem der Wahl für die vier Räder, gekoppelt mit einem ABS (Anti-Blockier-System) zur Unterstützung. Die Servolenkung ist elektrisch überwacht für zusätzliche Sicherheit. Sie finden den BMW M3 F80 mit einem aktuellen Preisschild von 44.500 Dollar, nicht so billig, aber sicherlich ein fairer Preis für einen der zuverlässigsten Roadster, die von der BMW-Familie produziert wurden.
