La Honda Civic Si FA5 représente la variante berline de performance de huitième génération produite de 2007 à 2011 établissant la première disponibilité Si à quatre portes au sein d'une génération unique élargissant l'accessibilité des enthousiastes au-delà de la configuration traditionnelle coupé uniquement tout en livrant un moteur atmosphérique K20Z3 i-VTEC sophistiqué produisant 197 chevaux à stratosphériques 7,800 tr/min maintenant la philosophie de performance à haut régime de Honda. Le quatre cylindres en ligne DOHC i-VTEC K20Z3 de 2,0 litres produisant 197 chevaux à 7,800 tr/min avec 139 livres-pieds de couple à 6,100 tr/min a représenté l'évolution de la légendaire architecture série K. Le restylage de 2009 a apporté un style extérieur raffiné à travers un pare-chocs avant révisé incorporant des feux de brouillard ovales obligatoires, un motif de grille supérieure en nid d'abeille avec badge Si relocalisé, des clignotants à lentilles claires. La production s'est terminée en 2011 avec l'introduction de la Civic de neuvième génération adoptant un moteur K24Z7 de 2,4 litres révisé produisant 201 chevaux, tandis que les exemples FA5 de huitième génération maintiennent des valeurs de marché d'occasion contemporaines variant de $8,000 à $18,000.
