La Porsche Cayman S 987 v2 est un coupé sport deux portes à toit souple, deuxième génération de la célèbre Porsche Cayman, fabriquée de 2009 à 2012 à Stuttgart, en Allemagne. Présentée en 2008 au Salon de Genève, la grande innovation de ce modèle fut l’introduction de la nouvelle boîte manuelle PDK (Porsche Doppel Kupplungs) à 6 rapports, qui remplaça la traditionnelle transmission semi-automatique triptonic des modèles précédents. Ce roadster est équipé d’un moteur flat-six DFI 3,4L développant 320 ch et 273 lb-pi de couple, lui permettant d’accélérer de 0 à 62 mph en 5,2 secondes et d’atteindre une vitesse maximale de 172 mph. La répartition des charges sur les essieux est d’environ 45:55, garantissant stabilité et comportement routier.
La Porsche Cayman S 987 v2 adopte une configuration moteur avant propulsion avec un design plus léger et compact. À l’extérieur, la face avant redessinée avec feux de jour à LED est l’un des éléments emblématiques qui attirent les regards partout où elle passe. La voiture intègre le Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM), le pack Sport Chrono, un système de freinage à disques ventilés avec ABS, le contrôle électronique de stabilité et un antidémarrage. Les pneus Michelin Pilot Sport PS2 équipent de série des jantes en alliage léger 911 turbo de 18 pouces, en 235/35 R18 à l’avant et 265/40 R18 à l’arrière. Ce futur classique offre une excellente finition, un intérieur luxueux et des équipements haut de gamme, pouvant rejoindre votre collection à partir de 45 000 $.
