O Nissan 370Z Nismo representa o ápice do desempenho dos carros Z, estreando no Salão do Automóvel de Nova York em 2009 como uma evolução focada em pista do 370Z padrão. Movido pelo renomado motor V6 VQ37VHR de 3,7 litros que entrega 350 cavalos de potência e 276 lb-ft de torque, a versão Nismo se destaca por aprimoramentos aerodinâmicos completos, suspensão esportiva calibrada e um design agressivo que presta homenagem à herança de competições da Nissan.
Em termos de desempenho, o 370Z Nismo acelera de 0 a 60 mph em 5,4 segundos e atinge uma velocidade máxima de 179 mph. A transmissão manual de 6 velocidades proporciona engajamento direto com o sistema de tração traseira, enquanto os bancos esportivos Recaro e o sistema de escape regulado pela Nismo melhoram tanto a conexão do motorista quanto o feedback sonoro. O pacote aerodinâmico inclui spoiler frontal funcional, aerofólio traseiro e saias laterais que geram downforce significativo em velocidades de pista.
Durante sua produção, de 2009 a 2020, o 370Z Nismo recebeu várias atualizações. O modelo 2014 trouxe uma renovação marcante com uma carroceria mais agressiva e melhor refrigeração. Em 2015, foram introduzidas melhorias estéticas com faróis diurnos em LED e para-choques atualizados. Já em 2017, a Nissan adicionou novas opções de cores e uma transmissão automática de 7 velocidades opcional para ampliar seu apelo. O 370Z Nismo permaneceu em produção até 2020, representando a última evolução da plataforma Z34 antes da chegada do novo Z.
