2015: Toyota introduced minor updates, including refinements to the interior materials, updated infotainment options, and additional color choices. Performance remained the same, but these small tweaks improved cabin comfort and quality.
2017: The GT86 received its most significant update. Exterior changes included revised front and rear bumpers, a larger grille, new LED headlights and taillights, and a new rear spoiler. Inside, Toyota added a new steering wheel with audio controls, an updated instrument cluster, and minor trim improvements. Suspension tuning was refined to enhance both handling precision and ride comfort. The manual version received a slight power increase in certain markets, bumping it to 205 hp and 156 lb-ft of torque, while the automatic remained at 200 hp.
